Sally Walker Davies is a freelance writer and regular contributor to The Commercial Appeal. Her twice a month travel column, Get Outta Town, offers news of great deals, luxury finds, cool gadgets and more. She also brings her knowledge to the travel blog. She is a frequent contributor to AOL Travel, AOL Shopping and The Tennessean. She is the mother of Maddie (9) and James (14), and is married to Tim Davies. The Davies moved to Memphis in 2002, and live in East Memphis.
Adrienne Rosenberg, 22, is a native Memphian, She graduated from the University of Tennessee in 2006 with a degree in Global Studies and a focus in Culture and Society. This fall, she will attend the University of Denver Graduate School of International Studies and focus on Human Rights. She gives a student’s perspective on travel.
Cyd Mosteller of Memphis does the outside marketing for Jack Morris Auto Glass. She was a studio staff singer at the William B. Tanner Co. for many years and sang with local bands. She also does TV and radio voiceover work. Cyd loves to travel and offers inspiration and advice to other women who travel solo or in groups.
Roscoe Phillips, our bicycle travel blogger, of Germantown worked in pre-press for print service companies for more than 40 years and retired in 1999. He and his wife, Ann McFarlan Phillips, have enjoyed traveling long distances by bicycle, since their first trip in 1989.
